Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) March 19, 2009 -- Free Shipping is always a popular option with consumers, albeit a difficult one to pull off for a product as heavy and relatively inexpensive as chai tea concentrate. Nevertheless, chai tea supplier Chai Direct has begun offering free shipping options for a large number of featured chai tea mixes and even some concentrates.

This move effectively enables Chai Direct to offer wholesale chai tea to coffee houses and restaurants, as well as individuals who wish to purchase chai tea by the case. Smaller orders are welcome, too, but a small shipping charge will apply.

All chai tea dry powder mixes are eligible for free shipping when the order threshold reaches $59--which roughly coincides with the wholesale case price in most situations. Free shipping for chai mixes includes Big Train Chai mix, Oregon Chai mix, and all David Rio chai dry mix.
"A real challenge occurs with the heavy chai concentrates due to the high UPS postage rates. Yet, right now we are offering Free Shipping on all chai super concentrates made by The Chai Company of Vancouver," says Gary.
Chai Direct hopes to extend the chai tea free shipping to other brands of chai concentrate as well.
"Even when the order falls below the free shipping threshold, we can still be very reasonable in shipping costs throughout the Midwest and even the East Coast, since we are shipping all our chai tea from Indianapolis," explains Gary. "Of course the shipping prices climb for us to get chai product out West, but we are implementing a price cap system to stay competitive even here."
