Retired heart surgeon Dwight Lundell will celebrate his 65th birthday as a participant in NA Sports Ironman being held in Tempe, AZ on November 23, 2008.

He will do a 2.4-mile open water swim, then a 112-mile bike race, followed by a 26.2-mile marathon run. Dr. Lundell is best known for his discovery that heart disease and heart attacks are not caused by what the medical community has long thought.
