Bloomington, MN (PRWEB) April 22, 2009 -- Pearson VUE, the computer-based testing business of Pearson, today announced that it has signed an exclusive agreement with Environmental Health Testing, LLC (EHT) to be the exclusive test delivery provider of the EHT's flagship examination program, the National Registry of Food Safety ProfessionalsTM (NRFSP). Beginning April 2009, The NRFSP's Food Safety Manager Certification ExaminationTM (FSMCE) will be delivered throughout the secure Pearson VUE-owned and -operated network of Pearson Professional Centers, supplemented in some locations with Pearson VUE's third-party channel of Pearson VUE® Authorized Test Centers throughout the United States and its territories.

The NRFSP's Food Safety Manager Certification Examination was the first examination managed by Environmental Health Testing and has rapidly grown to become the second largest food manager certification exam in the United States. The exam is offered to food safety professionals throughout the United States with a growing global presence. Through the exam these professionals demonstrate that their knowledge and skills meet specified food safety standards adopted by the Conference for Food Protection to protect the public from food-borne illnesses. The program also meets the requirements for demonstration of knowledge as described in the US FDA Food Code. The exam is available in the following languages: English, Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese, modern and traditional Chinese, Arabic, and Japanese.
