Decidedly abstract expressionist, Davies' work is meditative and tactile. The mixed media pieces use eco-friendly materials such as crushed pumice, garnet ore, and mica flakes to create heavy texture.
Spirals are a common iconographic motif throughout the Earth’s cultures, and the form is found everywhere in nature and is prevalent in the universe. Miss Davies has been drawn to the spiral form for many years. Her
