Industry Veteran to Oversee NEF’s Outsourced Network Planning & Fiber Mapping Program, FiberLocator

Golden has worked in the telecom industry for over 11 years with broad-based experience including building network backbones, performing outside sales and overseeing project management/fiber procurement. Prior to joining the team at NEF, Golden worked as the Manager of Fiber Planning for Zayo Bandwidth to create new ways to acquire dark fiber and to negotiate fiber swaps with the goal of building out a unique footprint in metropolitan locations.
Golden cut his chops in the telecom industry with MCI by turning up OC-48 circuits and then as a Project Manager for Broadwing Communications where he oversaw the entire West Coast Test and Turn Up department and helped build the LH route from Atlanta to Miami.
