New Study Suggests that the DRX9000 Decompression Unit Relieves Back Pain for Chiropratic Patients

Retrospective data and the more recent Pilot Study data are very encouraging in favor of the DRX9000™. A retrospective review of 94 patients treated on the DRX9000™ revealed a reduction in mean low back pain score from 6.05, on a 0 to 10 scale.

Lubbock, TX (PRWEB) October 29, 2009 -- Retrospective data and the more recent Pilot Study data are very encouraging in favor of the DRX9000. A retrospective review of 94 patients treated on the DRX9000 revealed a reduction in mean low back pain score from 6.05, on a 0 to 10 scale, at initial presentation to 0.89 after the last DRX treatment. Patients also appeared to have improved function while requiring fewer analgesics after completion of treatment. This study has been accepted for publication in Pain Practice.

In a recent prospective Pilot Study, 18 evaluable subjects had a change in mean VRS pain score from 6.4 (n=18) on a scale of 0 to 10 at baseline that decreased to 0.8 (n=17) at week 6. On a 0-10 scale, patients rated DRX9000™ treatment 8.1. No patient required additional invasive therapies. No serious adverse events related to DRX9000 treatment occurred.

Dr. Kevin Sanders of Southwest Chiropractic Center located in Lubbock, Texas, has been using the DRX9000 with great success and is encouraging anyone with back pain to take a serious look at the DRX9000 as a possible alternative to back surgery.
