Microsoft Windows Azure Event to Showcase CSRware Integration to Cisco EnergyWise

CSRware CEO to highlight the scalability and security benefits of cloud-based integration.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) October 28, 2009 -- CSRware™, a recognized leader in on-demand software for energy efficiency, carbon and sustainability management, announced today that it has been selected as a case study for Microsoft Windows® Azure™ World Tour 2009. CSRware has been leveraging the Windows Azure platform and other Microsoft platform tools and technologies through Microsoft BizSpark, a global program to help startups grow into successful businesses through software, support, and visibility with no upfront costs. CSRware CEO, Karen Alonardo, will present an overview of the company's Green IT performance management solution and describe how using the Windows Azure platform to integrate with Cisco EnergyWise™ helps CSRware's customers more effectively manage their data center energy efficiency and carbon management initiatives by aggregating tens of thousands of data points for better benchmarking, initiative tracking, ROI analysis and reporting.

"With the Windows Azure platform, we're focused on delivering a cloud services platform that provides partners with the ability to build and manage web applications and services," said Michael Maggs, senior director partner strategy, Windows Azure at Microsoft. "This is a great example of how Microsoft's partners are leveraging the Windows Azure platform to quickly develop and deploy next generation solutions to their customers."

"Offering cloud-based integration provides our customers greater flexibility, scalability and security," noted Karen Alonardo, Founder and CEO of CSRware. "The Microsoft BizSpark program has enabled us to take advantage of Microsoft platform offerings like the Windows Azure platform, making it easier to integrate with monitoring solutions for energy, water, waste and other key resource parameters. This provides our customers with a more holistic view of their efficiency and sustainability efforts."

The invitation-only event will take place at Microsoft's Silicon Valley campus in Mountain View, California, on October 29, 2009. Additional information is available by contacting CSRware at    (415) 839-8424 or by visiting our website: http://csrware.com.
