(PRWEB) October 28, 2009 -- Montana painter Scott Hale has launched a new e-commerce website that brings together a wide variety of fly fishing art from many of the sport's most celebrated artists. ArtCreel.com showcases "Fine Art for Anglers", and provides an extraordinary one-stop experience for finding and purchasing high quality limited edition angling art and fish art prints.

Hale says, "For some time I've been wanting to create a place on the web, apart from my landscape paintings, where I could share my angling art with everyone. Somewhere along the way, about a year ago, I decided that it would be fun to build a site where fly fishing enthusiasts could come and find not just my work, but fly fishing art from a group of really talented angling artists. I'm proud to announce the launch of ArtCreel.com - the amalgam of these ideas."

A simple and beautiful layout greets visitors of ArtCreel.com. At the same time it has intuitive navigation that allows shoppers to easily sort through the offerings by subject, artist, size, or price. Many of the works include thoughts, notes and miniature essays about them that provide the viewer with deeper insight into the mind of the artist and create a more personal connection to the work.

Artists represented include Hale, and a number of veteran artists in the angling art world: Peter Corbin, Al Barnes, and Joseph Tomelleri. Other outstanding artists that have come aboard include painters Derek DeYoung and AD Maddox, and woodblock printmaker John Koch. ArtCreel plans on adding a few additional artists including Jeff Kennedy and another veteran of sporting art - Bob White, in the coming weeks.
