Wine-Searcher Uncorks Wine Data on iPhone
Wine-Searcher.com releases its API in partnernship with CellarTracker and Cor.kz. iPhone users, wine websites and third party applications will now be able to view over 3.7 million wine prices and their stockists from anywhere and at any time.
(PRWEB) June 24, 2009 -- Wine Searcher, www.wine-searcher.com, released its API in partnership with two leading wine information and technology providers, CellarTracker and Cor.kz. This solution allows a combined user base of over 700,000 users to locate and price their favorite wines from anywhere and at anytime.
Wine Searcher, the world's biggest and most used wine search engine attracts over 9 million visitors to its website each year. In 2008, users made 32 million searches on its database of 3.7 million wine offers and viewed 55 million pages of wine information.

In this first release of the API, iPhone users who access CellarTracker wine information via Cor.kz iPhone application will now be able to view actual wine prices and stockists with the integration of Wine-Searcher's 3.7 million wine offers.
Wine-Searcher's API is also available to third-party solution providers and websites enabling them to integrate a Wine-Searcher query into their own applications. Search results are returned in XML allowing the API consumer to format it as they wish. The API informaton is now published at http://www.wine-searcher.com/ws-api.lml
