In the past Simply Boulder used pure olive oil, but decided to use only extra virgin olive oil in order to have the best taste and health benefits possible.

In order to make the healthiest gluten free sauces possible, Simply Boulder has always exclusively used olive oil in their sauces instead of blending it with canola or soybean oil. Before the switch, their olive oil was still all natural, but it was 50% extra virgin. By using 100% extra virgin it will enhance the flavor even more since extra virgin is the highest quality of olive oil.
