Tinkerbell, the petite, six-pound Michigan puppy who flew through the air with the greatest of ease during a storm Saturday at Dixieland Flea Market, is found safe almost a mile away thanks to guidance from a pet psychic. The 71 year old pet owners said Tinkerbell is their angel. Joe Goldberg, manager of Dixieland Flea Market, mused Rocky, the flying squirrel, has nothing on Tinkerbell, Dixieland's flying dog!

Waterford, MI (PRWEB) April 29, 2009 -- Tinkerbell, the petite, six-pound Michigan puppy who flew through the air with the greatest of ease when a sudden, strong wind gust swept her off her paws at the Dixieland Flea Market in Waterford Township during a powerful storm on Saturday, was reunited with her owners Monday, thanks to the help of a pet psychic who assisted in finding the high flying wonderdog.

Owners Dorothy Utley, 71, and her husband Lavern, 72, of Rochester, Michigan were among 125 outdoor vendors at Dixieland Flea Market and had eight-month old Tinkerbell chained to a cooler at their display. When the storm hit, the high winds broke the puppy's leash sent her soaring through the sky on her unscheduled flight path over adjacent Dixie Highway.

The Utleys, who described Tinkerbell as being their 'angel,' found the perplexed pooch Monday in a wooded area almost a mile away with guidance from Lorrie the Pet Psychic of Holly, Michigan. Joe Goldberg, manager of Dixieland Flea Market, perhaps summed up the precarious pet caper best, "This is the only pet trick I've ever seen where the pet was more blown away than the audience! Rocky, the flying squirrel, has nothing on Tinkerbell, Dixieland's flying dog!"
