An Innovative New Book Helps Consumers Find Out if Their Doctors are Following Official Treatment Guidelines

Many don't know there are official treatment guidelines put forth by reputable organizations like the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society. These guidelines help doctors know what therapies are the most effective and have the least amount of side effects. A new book educates consumers on these guidelines and helps consumers determine if their doctor is following these guidelines or not.

Dr. Larson admits that educating health care consumers is a passion of hers and attributes much of her interest in the subject to her grandmother.
