File Tax Return Online to Meet the IRS Tax Filing Deadline Today

Meet the IRS Tax Filing Deadline today by using E-File to prepare and file your tax return online. Electronically filing your tax return today is a convenient and cost effective way to prevent IRS Problems for not filing taxes.

Houston, TX (PRWEB) April 15, 2009 -- The most likely question around the office today by co-workers will be the following question. Have you filed your taxes yet? For those last minute tax filers who find themselves still answering that question with the response of I still need to file my taxes, can find a solution to their problem by going online to prepare and file their tax return in order to meet the IRS deadline to file taxes today.

Jeff Welch, who operates the tax website www.you-file.com, where taxpayers go to file their income tax returns online from their home computer, said that visits to the tax filing website have doubled this week. Welch says that while many of the visitors to his website are still looking for answers about the IRS tax filing deadline for this year, a significant number are people are going to his website to find answers to questions about IRS problems because they failed to file their taxes in previous years. Welch adds that visitors to his website are also looking for information about how to deal with IRS problems related to things like getting letters from the IRS, wage garnishments and visits from IRS Revenue Officers and Agents. "Those types of IRS problems are frequently a direct result of not filing tax returns," says Welch. He adds that the best way to avoid many IRS problems is to file your tax return on time each year.

Welch advises people to go online today to file their taxes because it is the most convenient way to meet their tax filing obligation to the IRS. Welch says that traditional tax preparers will be extremely busy today helping other last minute tax filers so the best alternative to waiting around a busy tax preparation office today is to go online to file a tax return.

Welch points out that online tax filing saves both time and money because "there is no waiting in line when you use your own computer to file your taxes, plus the cost to prepare and file your taxes online is only a fraction of the cost of using a traditional tax preparer."

You File (www.you-file.com) is an online resource to help taxpayers stay in federal tax compliance with the IRS on tax related matters. Interested individuals can visit www.you-file.com for more information on tax issues or to e-file their tax return online today to meet the IRS Tax Filing Deadline.
