Green Star Builders Completes Green Luxury Suite for Dallas Cowboys
Green Star Builders, a Dallas-based custom builder specializing in energy efficient green building practices, has completed the construction of a green luxury suite at the Dallas Cowboys' Valley Ranch practice facility in Irving and hopes to expand the concept to other major sports franchises.
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) April 10, 2009 -- Green Star Builders, a Dallas-based custom builder specializing in energy efficient green building practices, has completed the construction of a green luxury suite at the Dallas Cowboys' Valley Ranch practice facility in Irving.
The Dallas Cowboys' practice facility now features a green luxury suite designed and built by Green Star Builders.
"It was a thrill for me to design and develop this cutting-edge green luxury suite for the Cowboys," said Brett Relander, Green Star Builders president and CEO. "Even though I grew up in Illinois, the Cowboys were always my favorite team. They've been a leader in the NFL for decades; now they're leading in a new way with a real dedication to building green."
The three-story outdoor suite features the latest in green building techniques, including a high-efficiency ductless HVAC system, reflective windows, tankless water heaters, and a custom terrazzo floor made from recycled glass. Green Star has also completed an elevated viewing platform inside the team's indoor practice facility. The Cowboys plan to integrate the outdoor suite and the indoor viewing platform into the team's corporate sponsorship program.
Green Star Builders was formed by Relander, who saw a market need for sustainable construction techniques and for furthering the green building movement in north Texas. Green Star Builders specializes in custom homes, home renovation projects and commercial buildings for individuals, developers, corporations and investors.
