US Air Force Awards Contract to Intura Solutions for Hospital Cafeteria at Lackland AFB

Intura Solutions announced that the 59th Medical Wing of the United States Air Force has awarded Intura the contract to provide a new POS solution for the hospital cafeteria located at the Wilford Hall Medical Center.

The needs of the WHMC required them to replace an ineffective POS system that was unable to meet the high-volume transaction level while maintaining consistent and reliable operations throughout the week. In addition, their requirements included powerful POS workstations, customer displays, cash drawers, power conditioners and integrated scales for selling products by weight.

"Intura installed the system during the last week of March and everything went extremely smooth," continued Berryman. "The system is performing well and the cashiers and management personnel are more than satisfied with the results."
