On February 17, 2009 "Old Tyme" Virginia Peanut Co. completed the annual inspection by The Commonwealth of Virginia Food Safety and Security Program, through the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The results: "No objectionable conditions were observed during today's inspection."

"It is our hope this clears up any confusion or questions about The Peanut Company of Virginia and 'Old Tyme' Virginia Peanuts. All of our products have been approved by the Virginia Finest program," said Bill Brown, CEO of The "Old Tyme" Peanut Co. of Virginia.
