Former Pro Baseball Player Helps Kids - and Parents - Reduce Nervousness and Enjoy the Game

Former professional baseball player gives youth league baseball and softball parents a free, easy-to-use technique to help their kids overcome being nervous when at bat.

Dallas, TX (Bluehost/PRWEB ) September 24, 2008 -- Attention Baseball and softball Parents -- Have you experienced confusion or frustration with other adults while cheering your kids and their teams?

Relief is now here! Let a former professional baseball player put your child - and you - at ease.

"Year after year, most of the 'good guys' in pro baseball hear the same stories from parents about their negative experiences in the youth leagues," said former professional baseball player Matt Mc Dermott. Matt was a bullpen catcher for five seasons in minor league baseball and played with the Lewisville Lizards of the Continental Baseball League in 2007.

"I heard the same complaints from parents after giving post-game lessons to the kids, so I finally decided to do something about it, said Matt. "I compiled the advice I gave, and interviewed trusted colleagues in professional baseball who genuinely care about the best interests of the kids and their parents."

Matt's new e-book and audio interview series are available at http://www.YouthBaseballParents.com. "It gives advice to parents with kids ages 5 to 12 who play in youth baseball or softball. It tells how to deal with obnoxious parents, bad calls by the umpire, reducing inadvertent safety risks, and getting the most for your money if you take private lessons," he adds.

"When you sign up for the newsletter, parents get a free report on how to help their kids reduce being nervous when at bat," something Mc Dermott says many parents witness in their own children. "Immediately after my last game in uniform I gave a final post-game lesson to the kids; and I gave them an easy-to-use technique," he said. "Parents thanked me for the information and said that they never knew reducing nervousness could be that simple.

"I figured that if it worked to help minor league players out of hitting slumps then I could teach it to young kids just as easily," said Matt. "The best part is that the kids understood it faster and applied it more readily than did my own teammates!"

Parents with kids in youth baseball and softball can get Matt's free report at http://www.YouthBaseballParents.com.
