NewspaperARCHIVE.com Announces Advertising Relationship With AARP

NewspaperARCHIVE.com, the world's largest digital newspaper archive, has partnered with AARP, a nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization for people age 50 and over, to feature NewspaperARCHIVE.com promotions on the AARP website.

Cedar Rapids, IA (PRWEB) July 16, 2008 -- NewspaperARCHIVE.com, which contains more than 85 million digitized newspaper pages in searchable format, selected AARP, which claims 38 million members, to enhance their advertising network with demographically-targeted ads.

Graphic "banner advertisements" will be featured on key AARP website pages, informing visitors of the NewspaperARCHIVE.com service and featuring a link to the NewspaperARCHIVE.com site. The advertisements will feature family history and genealogy, categories that are featured in 90% of all NewspaperARCHIVE.com searches.

"The AARP website is a perfect match for NewspaperARCHIVE.com," stated Chris Murders, Director of NewspaperARCHIVE.com. "Our resource is used heavily by genealogy and history enthusiasts, a demographic that closely matches AARP users. Using AARP, we can easily reach people who may not know about our rich offerings which can greatly expand their research capability."

The promotion is scheduled to begin on July 15, 2008.
