PokerListings.com Players Stack Hollywood Freeroll; 'MobileMunk' Narrowly Misses Double $12K Payout
PokerListings.com players dominated the field in a recent Hollywood Poker WPT Barcelona freeroll, taking five of the top eight spots. Top PL finisher, MobileMunk, also heads to the upcoming Spanish Championships with a generous $12K prize package - just missing out on a massive double payout.

But nothing quite like the results of a recent Hollywood WPT Barcelona satellite.
Five PokerListings.players placed in the top eight and the top PL finisher, MobileMunk, walked away with a massive $12K prize package for the upcoming WPT Spanish Championships - finishing second overall and just missing a $24,000 double payout.

Also finishing in the top eight were PokerListings players belphegor152, who came in third, tennisman001 who finished fifth, Jointmaker74 who took sixth and Grimaldi111 who took eighth.
How they qualified: Hollywood Poker hosted two exclusive $1,500 freerolls for PokerListings players in early September, with the top four in each winning a free seat to a $235+$15 WPT Barcelona qualifier.
The top-placing PokerListings player there would then win a $12K package to the event plus any winnings from the regular prize pool. And, since the prize pool also included a package for the overall winner, it would have been a double payout if a PL player had won.
"Just this close to $24K," adds Sundell. "A little bit heartbreaking, but we still feel great about the turnout and the performances. Our congratulations go out to MobileMunk, and we wish him the best in Barcelona."

The details: All PokerListings players (signed up at Hollywood Poker through a PokerListings link) are eligible for weekly $1,000 freerolls every Saturday from Sept 22-Nov 10, 2007.
Just 50 Hollywood poker points are needed to play in each, and on top of cash payouts, the top four finishers will also get a ticket to a private PokerListings $15,000 EPT Prague freeroll on Nov. 24, 2007.
The only way to qualify for the big event is to place in the top four in one of the freerolls, so only 32 players maximum will hit the felt for the final.
