Go From San Francisco To New York On Just $50 In Gas

Now available from tm-scooterhaven.com, the transportation alternative that can get from 100 to 200 miles per gallon.

Tampa, FL (PRWEB) August 13, 2007 -- Going one hundred miles on a single gallon of fuel is not science fiction anymore. Going two hundred miles on a single gallon of fuel is even a reality and TM Concepts is proud to offer the most economical transportation solutions available.

People everywhere are enjoying their freedom with the fast, fuel efficient Go Ped Scooters from http://www.tm-scooterhaven.com.

According to Matthew Smith, President of TM Concepts, Inc, "Since gas prices began to go up, people have taken notice, which is evidenced by the increase in sales of the fuel saving gas scooters."

Based on the repetitive news reports from ABC, NBC and CBS, the price of oil continues to be unstable. "More people are turning towards a gas powered scooter as their alternate means of transportation," states Smith.    Go Ped Scooters, from Patmont Motor Werks are designed with the commuter in mind. Sleek, fast, portable and lightweight are just a few of their trademarks.

According to Smith, "When fuel efficiency is a must in determining which mode of transportation to purchase, a Go Ped gas scooter takes the prize, hands down and should be at the top of any commuters list." Most gas scooters today can out distance any automobile, SUV, or truck by an average of three to one. Instead of stopping at the gas station every couple of days, they only require a fill up every couple of weeks on average. Fuel efficiency has never been better.

Going by today's gas prices, and based on MPG estimates from Ford, Dodge and Chevy, the cost to fill up an SUV will be around forty to fifty dollars. How far that forty to fifty dollars will go depends on driving style and whether the driving is on the highway or in the city. The top Ford, Dodge and Chevy SUV and truck models can get an estimated sixteen to twenty two miles per gallon in the city and an estimated twenty one to twenty eight miles per gallon on the highway. The Hybrid models can increase the gas mileage by reaching from thirty to thirty six miles per gallon in the city, but not much more than two to four more miles per gallon on the highway.

Fuel efficient cars are getting better with their fuel economy, but have not hit the one hundred miles per gallon threshold as of yet. Based on reported MPG estimates from Ford, Dodge, Honda, Toyota, and Chevy, the average mid-sized compact or sedan will range from eighteen to twenty miles per gallon for city driving and up to thirty miles per gallon for highway driving. The Hybrid models of these compact or mid-sized cars can increase fuel mileage by as much as thirty to forty percent, based on reported fuel mileage estimates.

"Toyota leads the pack," States Smith. The Prius Hybrid claims to be able to get as much as sixty miles per gallon in the city and around fifty one miles per gallon on the highway. "Based on our research, that is the best fuel economy we have been able to find from the top manufacturers thus far," stated Smith. But it still won't get you from San Francisco to New York with only $50 to spend on gas.

According to Smith, "The only gas powered scooter around that can do that is the Go Ped gas scooter. The Go Ped Scooter is designed for the commuter and is lightweight and compact so that you can take it and store it just about anywhere. No, I would not recommend using it to get from San Francisco to New York, but at up to two-hundred mile per gallon, you sure could give it one heck of a try."
